Northpark Code of Conduct

We hope your shopping experience here is a pleasant one. The property and buildings comprising Northpark are PRIVATE property. The following Code of Conduct is set forth to protect the Northpark legitimate business interests and our shoppers. Any violation of the code may interfere with the commercial nature and function of the shopping center. While a visitor on the property, you are prohibited from engaging in any of the following activities:
  • Juvenile groups of (3) three or more will be dispersed.
  • Customers must keep moving in an orderly fashion through the premises and not block walkways or store entrances.
  • Loud behavior and the playing of any audio device will not be permitted.
  • Using obscene language, obscene gestures, or racial, sexual, religious or ethnic slurs which are likely to create a disturbance at the property.
  • Physically or verbally threatening any person, fighting, annoying others through noisy activities, unwarranted staring or following another person.
  • Running, skating, skateboarding, bicycling, the use of hover boards, obstructing or interfering with the free flow of pedestrian traffic.
  • Littering or discarding any paper, glass, or other matter of any kind on the property, except in designated trash receptacles.
  • Defacing, damaging, or destroying any property, belonging to Northpark, its patrons, or its merchants.
  • Sitting on RMU (carts), floors, planters or trash receptacles.
  • Bringing any animals onto the property with the exception of service animals and during special events.
  • Yelling, screaming, singing, playing of musical instruments, radios or tape players, or otherwise communicating in a manner which creates noise of unreasonable volume.
  • Soliciting, distributing promotional material or offering samples.
  • Failing to wear shoes, to be fully clothed, or wearing indecent or inappropriate apparel.
  • Possessing any alcoholic beverage, except in area specifically designated for the consumption of alcohol.
  • Loitering or remaining idle about the property.
  • Engaging in any unlawful activity or behavior inside or outside.
  • Smoking and vaping is prohibited.
As of 8:00 PM all visitors are required to leave the property. The above Code of Conduct will be in effect at all times for all guests and visitors of the Northpark. Anyone who violates any of the above rules of the shopping center shall be asked to leave. If the violator returns to the shopping center uninvited or again violates any of the above rules and regulations, said violator will be banned from the shopping center and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Northpark Management has the right to amend this Courtesy Code at any time.

Youth Policy

Youth Supervision Policy (YSP) is established to ensure that all our guests enjoy a safe, pleasant, and family friendly shopping environment. All visitors age 17 and under must be accompanied at all times by a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older on Saturdays after 4:00 pm. We encourage persons age 17 and under to enjoy the mall with a parent or supervising adult on Saturday evenings.
Guests:
  • Guests age 17 and under are required to be accompanied by and remain with a parent or adult age 21 or older at all times after 4:00 pm on Saturdays.*
  • Unsupervised youth age 17 and under shopping prior to 4:00 PM on Saturday evenings must leave the mall by 4:00 PM or be joined with a parent or supervising adult age 21 or older.
  • Proof of age will be required for the youth and supervising adult. Those who fail to produce proper identification will be asked to leave the property.
  • Proper identification includes a state issued driver’s license or ID card, a passport, or a military. The identification must include a photograph, date of birth and be tamper proof.
  • One adult may accompany up to 6 youths. The supervising adult must remain with the youths at all times.
  • Supervising adults are responsible for the actions of the youth they accompany and must ensure they are following Northpark’s Code of Conduct
Employees:
Mall employees 17 and under may continue to work within their store during Youth Supervision Policy Hours. Persons 17 and under must adhere to the Youth Supervision Policy if their shift ends during policy hours. Employees of the mall must be prepared to show valid ID and proof of employment.
