Creatives were welcomed on DECEMBER 5 to Santa’s Whimsical Wonderland in Center Court for JXNPHOTOWALK Holiday Edition. Photographers, models, and all creatives were invited to strike a pose, snap a pic, collab with fellow artists and create holiday magic. Over 100 canned goods were collected for the MS Food Network! Now its time to vote for your favorite photo! The model and photographer with the winning photo will win $300!

WHAT’S A PHOTOWALK?

The JXNPHOTOWALK is an event that is centered around the creative community of Jackson. It encourages creatives of all mediums to come out, meet each other, and simply shoot a few photos. Each event is given a unique location and theme to help spark endless amounts of inspiration. Despite the title, you don’t have to be a photographer to attend. We encourage all to come out, because you never know what kind of creative you may end up building a connection with.

Here’s How it Works:

  1. Complete the short submission form with the photographer name, Instagram handle, model(s) name and Instagram handles. Entries must be 18+.
  2. Upload your photo from the JXNPHOTOWALK Holiday Edition. (jpeg or png files)
  3. Click Submit!

Upon approval, nominees will be included in our #JXNPHOTOWALK photo album on Facebook, posted on Instagram and displayed in our gallery space of Center Court for public voting!

Deadline to submit photos December 12 at midnight

Voting will be live December 14-December 18

Voting process will be announced Monday December 7

    My name is Alexander FRE$CO and I am a portrait photographer from Jackson, MS that also makes music. I’ve been a photographer officially for 3 years and I am also apart of a creative group called JXNPHOTOWALK which is known for bringing different creatives together to network with each other.

    Amanda Paige

    My name is Amanda Paige, I am an entrepreneur & multi hyphenate creative from Florence, MS. I own and manage a photography studio named The Murals based in the Belhaven area of Jackson. When I’m not at the studio you can catch me behind the scenes handling a camera or busy building the next big thing.

    Kendrick Davis

    My name is Kendrick Davis. I have been a photographer and videographer in the Jackson area since 2018. As a part of the JXNPHOTOWALK team, I aim to connect and be a resource for the creatives in and outside of the Jackson area.

    Austin Robinson

    My name is Austin Robinson, I am an architect, a photographer, a videographer, but a full time creator. My passion for art, in my visuals, is what drives me everyday to become the complete artist. The love for cinematography keeps me going everyday.
